What Is A Backlink?

In today's lesson we will talk about backlinks. First, you need to understand what they are.

So basically, Google needs to know that your content is important and should be seen.  As you have learned in this Action Plan, there are several ways to do this. One of them is backlinking, having links out there on the internet that will lead to your website. This tells Google that this information is important and should be able to be found when someone searches that keyword that your blog post or website has and will get you ranked. Getting ranked brings you more traffic and leads.

You can create manual backlinks. You can put in your link in the description of your videos and then backlink your video inside your blogs. You can also use article directories and forums (more training on those later).
Of course there is also social bookmarking.

Backlinks are important for getting your content ranked. If you combine the manual and automated techniques mentioned above when doing backlink boosters, your chances of getting your content ranked on Google is alot higher.

Daily 10 Step Process To Backlinking

The above is very important, and should be done daily.
But I want to lay out a very simple 10 step process that takes about 20 minutes to complete.
This should be added to your daily "work" schedule.

1. Write your blog
2. Social Media Blitz - share on social media sites
3. Convert to step by step tutorial
4. Convert to podcast
5. Convert to powerpoint
6. Convert to video
7. Convert to PDF format
8. Submit to document sharing sites
9. Use Link Roundups
10. Share with blog communities

See, 10 very easy steps.  If you complete these 10 items every time you write a blog, no matter what the content is, you will gain long time followers and you will start filling up your bank account on autopilot.
